Mats Cordt was born in southern Germany in 1966 and currently lives in Hamburg.
It became clear to him that he would become a photographer when, in 1971, he saw BLOW-UP and did not understand anything except the stuff about the photos.
After High School graduation, he began his career with various positions as a photo assistant, followed by formal study of design. Since 1992, he has been a self-employed photographer, working both commercial and editorially.
Fashion, cars and architecture are his favorite subjects; always searching for an objects inner glow.
Mats is a member of the BFF and the Art Directors Club of Germany
His work has been awarded at the Cannes Lions, Lead Awards, BFF, Clio Awards, Euro/Effie and ADC Germany.
